Brandy Wright began Kyokushin training as a young student in California and continued her practice with Hanshi Fred Buck in Arizona.

Training Path

Brandy started martial arts in Kyokushin Karate in 1995 at Buck's School of the Tiger in Rio Linda, California. Her instructor was Hanshi Fred Buck.

When Hanshi opened the Natomas Buck's School of the Tiger, Brandy moved her training there. In 2004, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona and continued training at the Honbu Dojo in Peoria.

Teaching and Service

Brandy serves as an assistant instructor at Buck's School of the Tiger in Peoria, Arizona. She is also a council member for the American Kyokushin Karate Organization and serves as the women's advisor.

Competition

Brandy has entered open tournaments, traditional tournaments, semi-full-contact tournaments, and bare-knuckle full-contact Kyokushin tournaments. Her competition experience includes local, regional, national, and international events.

She placed in all of them, including Battle of the Desert in Elko, Nevada in 2010.
