Willie Hernandez began martial arts at age 15, later found Kyoshi Fred Buck and the School of the Tiger, and now teaches Kyokushin Karate and Aiki-Jujitsu in Rio Linda, California.

Training Path

Willie's first martial arts training came at age 15 in a Shotokan dojo, where he earned Shodan. He also trained in Taekwondo and received a red-black belt.

After training at different dojos, he found Kyoshi Fred Buck and the American Kyokushin Karate Organization's School of the Tiger.

Martial Arts Experience

Willie has trained and fought in Karate, Taekwondo, Kickboxing, full-contact competition, Aiki-Jujitsu, Kyokushin, boxing, and Kobudo weapons.

With Kyoshi Fred Buck, he received 1st Dan in Aiki-Jujitsu and 3rd Dan in Kyokushin Karate.

Teaching

Willie teaches Kyokushin Karate and Aiki-Jujitsu classes at Rio Linda Recreation and Park District in Rio Linda, California.
